5 Chic New Nail Art Designs for Fall

We've all been there: You enter a room, take a look at the polished wall rainbow, and immediately feel overwhelmed. Julie Kandalec recruit a top manicure and creative director of the Color box, a nail in the city of New York, to cut through the clutter and keep five elegant designs for fall. If you want yourself or bring these looks at the show, we have your instant inspiration.

Mint Condition
You typically save pastels for spring, but mint looks unexpected and fresh during the colder months. When paired with a touch of black, the vibe goes from sugary sweet to so sophisticated.

Step 1: brush in two mint glaze layers. We love China Glaze Nail Polish in Re-Fresh Mint ($ 8 ulta.com). Allow to dry nails. Do this step a day ahead.

Step 2: Apply black tape strips horizontally across the nail, a third of the way down to the tip. Cut with scissors as Sally Hansen Cuticle Scissors Cuticle Tamer Ultra Fine tip ($ 10, drugstores). Cut the tape right underneath the nail to seal the edge from top to bottom layer and it will not lift time.

Step 3: Complete this look with a coat of your favorite coat of clear finish to add shine and lock up the band.
